I have slowly been learning to play the guitar. Once I began to form the necessary calouses for the strings, I began memorizing basic chords and even tinkered a little with some tabs. I think it will take me a lifetime to become an average campfire guitarist. However, I so enjoy watching people who are naturally musical. I am not jealous of them...in fact they inspire me to keep trying. Practice will never get me to the level of the following guitarist...but without seeing his talent I would have never had any idea that a guitar could produce such amazing sounds and rhythms.

I think that one of best gifts in life is sitting on the couch with your 8 year old son as he laughs himself breathless watching Whose Line Is It Anyway? Thanks be to God for such a gift!

We all have bad days at times...it is a given of the human condition. Today, two of my loving and committed staff left me in deep confusion and concern about their and my place at the Mustard Seed. Moreover, my son has begun to "reflux" cough again at night. Looks like no sleep again for a while.
I have learned to experience the deep connection between laughter and crying...smiling and tears. I think it is the only way that I remain somewhat sane in this life. I find both meaning and comfort in these words: "Der Teufel scheißt immer auf den größten Haufen" (German Proverb).
Grace and peace to us all,
Trey

I like flags...to the point that I know the term vexillographer. I have designed some flags for my small segment of the Jones clan. They may be a little hokey...but I like them. By the way, Heather and Stephanie, I know that I am a geek for this!
Grace and peace,
Trey
This is Evan. This morning I did not go directly to school. I had to see a new doctor about my reflux. I am getting better but they wanted to check me out anyway. I joked with the doctor...he was funny. He wants me to get a test run for Celiac, but he does not think I have it. My dad kept talking with him about Mustard Seed...he talks too much sometimes! I got back to school in time to do a worksheet then go to lunch. When I got home I did my homework then I got to play PS2. I have to go now...bye.
This is Gabi, today at school I learned about fact families. Fact families are triangles with numbers in them that help me add. I played with my friends at school. After school I went to dance class where we practiced ballet and tap. I had fun and I practiced some old steps that I already knew. I am eating cucumber slices for dessert. I am a fruit and vegetable girl. I have to go right now because my mom needs to dry my hair.
Bye bye, love Gabi
